Berlin, Germany — November 16, 2023Exolaunch (“Exolaunch or “the Company”), a global provider of launch mission management and deployment services and hardware for small satellites, has deployed 34 customer satellites from SpaceX’s Falcon 9 during the Transporter-9 mission. The mission launched from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on November 11, 2023, at 10:49 a.m. PT.

This launch marks the culmination of Exolaunch’s fastest launch cadence to date – seven missions total in 2023 – and the addition of standout new customers Foxconn, The Republic of Djibouti, Nara Space, Outpost Space, GHGSat and the Sierra Nevada Corporation via Spire Global, Riken, Mitsui Bussan Aerospace Co., Ltd. and Prométhée via Kongsberg NanoAvionics, and many more.

Along with AI-powered, high-resolution Earth observation and global non-terrestrial networks (NTN) on-orbit demonstration, satellites manifested via Exolaunch on Transporter-9 will fulfill a variety of missions fueled by the quickly maturing NewSpace sector.

Thanks to Exolaunch's proprietary deployers and customer-driven feedback iteration cycle, this mission manifest spans a wide range of advanced nanosatellites from 3Us to 16Us and microsatellites weighing hundreds of kilograms. Exolaunch's customers now include newly-minted space nations, A-list industrial players and the most comprehensive lineup of commercial smallsat constellation providers.

“The landscape and demand for rideshare launches has never been more exciting,” said Jeanne Allarie, Chief Commercial Officer at Exolaunch. “The spark in the growth of the NewSpace sector in Asia and the Middle East in addition to the growing demand in Europe and the US has increased our presence on SpaceX’s rideshare missions, and we are easily on track to support at least a ton of payload on missions of this magnitude. As always, SpaceX has been an excellent launch provider, opening easy access to space for all.”

Over the past years, Exolaunch has taken an iterative approach, putting customer feedback at the heart of their design ideation and resulting in deep engineering capabilities. During Transporter-9, Exolaunch used 6 CarboNIX microsatellite separation systems and 15 of Exolaunch’s iconic, mailbox-sized EXOpod Nova which housed and deployed a veritable atlas of the smallsat industry.

The majority of Exolaunch customers benefited from a service package streamlined over 12 missions with SpaceX to test, integrate, ship and deploy satellites from around the world - guiding customers through technical and legal mazes to ensure launch readiness.

The conclusive results speak volumes: Exolaunch is the fastest-growing launch integrator and mission manager for rideshare, with a dedicated returning satellite constellation customer base that includes Spire Global, ICEYE, Unseenlabs, EnduroSat, Planet, Open Cosmos, Aerospacelab and more.
