Berlin, Germany, Denver, U.S. — September 14, 2026 — Exolaunch, a global leader in launch mission management, satellite integration and deployment services, has been selected as the launch co-integrator for the German Space Agency at German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) and NASA's GRACE-C mission. Scheduled to launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket no earlier than Q4, 2028, the mission will carry the two GRACE-C satellites and offer capacity for additional customer payloads through Exolaunch's global launch program.

Exolaunch will manage launch capacity, payload integration and launch campaign activities for rideshare payloads on the mission, creating new opportunities to provide customers with access to orbit.

To increase mission efficiency, Exolaunch will supply a mission-specific configuration of its universal modular EXOtube launch adapter. Its flexible architecture will accommodate on the top the GRACE-C satellite stack with its adapter and additional payloads.

The GRACE-C mission continues the work of the pioneering GRACE and GRACE-FO missions. Led by NASA in partnership with the German Space Agency at DLR, the satellite pair will measure monthly changes in Earth's gravitational field to track water movement and changes in surface mass. Its observations will help monitor ice sheets, glaciers, groundwater, soil moisture and sea levels, providing a global view of changes in Earth's water cycle and water resources.
