“Finding Hot Wildfires Near You” MISSION
Mission overview
On March 26, 2025, Exolaunch has successfully deployed eight satellites for Germany's OroraTech, built by Spire, aboard Rocket Lab's Electron rocket. Liftoff occurred at 4:30pm CET from RocketLab Launch Complex 1 in Mahia, New Zealand. With this launch, Exolaunch's flight heritage has increased to 35 missions and 529 customer satellites flown.
The satellites delivered into orbit will form OroraTech's first operational wildfire monitoring constellation, providing critical infrared imaging and data services that help detect and monitor wildfires in real time. The satellites were flown via four EXOpod Nova deployers.
This is the Exolaunch's 35th mission in total and the 4th mission in 2025. This launch marks a significant milestone for the company, expanding its flight heritage to 529 flown customer satellites and further deepening collaboration with Spire Global and OroraTech.
