Transporter-18 MISSION

Mission overview

On October 1, Exolaunch successfully deployed 46 customer satellites on SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare mission aboard a Falcon 9 rocket, completing its 50th mission since the company's founding. This extensive track record signals Exolaunch's sustained position in the global launch market and the continued trust of satellite operators worldwide.

Transporter-18 carried 26 microsatellites and 23 cubesats for more than 20 commercial, institutional and government customers worldwide. With the completion of Transporter-18, Exolaunch has now deployed 890 satellites across 50 missions, including 235 satellites across nine missions in 2026 alone. An unprecedented cadence reflecting the scale of Exolaunch's operations, supported by its global infrastructure, established mission management processes and growing team.

The mission also marked the debut of Exolaunch's newest microsatellite separation system, Quadro Versa, which successfully deployed a 480 kg-class customer microsatellite. Designed for satellites weighing up to 1,000 kilograms that use four-point interfaces, Quadro Versa combines high strength and stiffness with low tip-off rates, with performance enabled by Exolaunch's proven synchronized-pusher mechanism, to help ensure controlled and predictable spacecraft separation.

Exolaunch provided end-to-end launch mission management, including launch capacity procurement with Falcon 9, coordination of all contractual and technical deliverables, logistics and customs clearance services, launch campaign operations and satellite integration with the launch vehicle at Vandenberg Space Force Base, flight-proven deployment technologies and satellite deployment into its target orbit, to a variety of new and existing customers on this mission.
