  • JOB SUMMARY

    The Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding our client base and building our order book. You will be armed with an outstanding track record of success and the most advanced product portfolio in the industry. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the space industry, preferably in the NewSpace sector, with a proven network of solid relationships and strong knowledge of the launch and small satellite industry. You have to be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision, focused on delivering tangible results. 

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Develop wins strategies for new business pursuits for the U.S. market.
    • Develop strategic customer accounts and cultivate new business opportunities.
    • Identify new products and adjacent market opportunities in the U.S.
    • Perform tactical functions: prepare multiyear quote proposals, manage sales/engineering/customer interface, establish pricing, perform negotiations, review contracts and perform marketing analysis.
    • Manage customers and the associated pipeline of opportunities.
    • Manage relations with Exolaunch sales, marketing, and mission management teams.
    • Manage relations with launch vehicle providers and maximize the associated pipeline of opportunities.
    • Establish and maintain key customer relationships and knowledge of new development programs and customer timelines. Able to support Tier-1, 2, or 3 accounts with a thorough understanding of the customers' processes and needs.
    • Support financial reporting, including forecasting, budgets, and quarterly reporting requirements; provide regular communication on critical programs in pursuit portfolio.
    • Skills and Experience
    • The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree is required; B.S. in Engineering is preferred with a demonstrated technical aptitude.
    • 3+ years’ experience in the space industry required; experience working in the NewSpace sector with knowledge and understanding of the launch industry and small satellites strongly preferred; knowledge of satellite deployment systems is a plus.
    • A highly collaborative individual with outstanding communication and networking skills.
    • Proven team player who has demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: Exceptional presentation, writing, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

    JUNIOR MISSION MANAGER – ENTRY LEVEL

    JOB SUMMARY

    As a Junior Mission Manager, you will join a team of highly skilled, motivated, and entrepreneurial professionals who will oversee and guide your development. You will start by providing support in the planning and execution of existing missions in our portfolio. This ranges from testing payloads to planning satellite clusters and interacting with our counterparties on the launch and satellite customer sides of the campaign.
    Your capabilities and personal drive will determine your workload and responsibility.

    The Junior Mission Manager is an entry-level position with a six-month trial period during which you will demonstrate your technical and personal qualities. The goal is to transition qualified specialists into full-time, permanent roles within Exolaunch as Mission Managers.   

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Eventually, act as the point of contact for multiple MicroSat/CubeSat customers. 
    • Manage all technical deliverables and deadlines for missions on multiple launch vehicles.
    • Design, plan and execute separation system and satellite test campaigns.
    • Travel to launch sites to support integration campaigns.
    • Draft and maintain technical documentation.
    • Support sales and marketing activities by participating at trade shows and providing technical sales support.
    • Required Skills and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical Engineering, or similar. Masters degree preferred.
    • Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar is a must.
    • Engineering experience in the space industry is preferred, especially hands-on experience working with tools/equipment. Engineering experience outside of the space industry will be considered for exceptional candidates.
    • Outgoing personality, positive attitude, striving to demonstrate ability and desire to work independently.

    Assembly and production engineer

    JOB SUMMARY

    You will be responsible for the production of electrical and mechanical components of our core space systems, their assembly and testing. Production related responsibilities include managing the relationship with partners and suppliers, end to end procurement of components and services, analyzing cost, supporting negotiations with subcontractors. You will evaluate the status of the hardware by testing modules, optimizing procedures and finalizing specifications. Assembly responsibilities include building modules of flight hardware and preparing them for shipping. You will monitor test procedures and adjust them together in conjunction with the software team. You will bring your expertise to drive all technical and operational issues related to product integration and testing processes to ensure effective resolution of all issues in order to enable operational success.

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Facilitate production of electrical and mechanical components of flight hardware .
    • Set up, assemble, test and install flight hardware.
    • Perform testing campaigns according to existing company procedures, specifications, and instructions.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (electrical and mechanical engineers) and operations to build components efficiently and on schedule.
    • Assess design requirements and production feasibility, revise production processes, procedures and equipment.
    • Drive design for manufacturing and assembly during new product development and improvement cycles.
    • Resolve complex manufacturing defects.
    • Support design for manufacturing and assembly during new product development and improvement cycles.
    • Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

    Senior Electrical Engineer

    JOB SUMMARY

    As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of subsystems from prototyping and design to manufacturing and testing. You will start with support of existing technical solutions with a focus on Electrical Power Systems. Existing systems will have to undergo a redesign in order to meet the exacting requirements of the next-gen space system platforms we are currently developing.

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Satellite subsystem design and prototyping, schematic capture, prototype build-out and debugging, hardware bug tracking, functional verification.
    • Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving existing electrical designs.
    • Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
    • Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
    • Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects.
    • Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
    • Supervising or training project team members.
    • Manage engineering projects and their timely delivery to clients.
    • Required Skills and Experience
    • Proven expertise as an electrical engineer, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; MSc is a plus.
    • 3+ years of experience with hardware development.
    • 2+ years of experience with designing and implementing of analog, digital or mixed-signal circuit boards from concept through production.
    • Hands-on experience using design and calculation software, Altium Designer knowledge.
    • Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
    • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, team player.
    • Hands on experience troubleshooting PCBs.
    • A good attitude and willing to take on constructive criticism.
